The Wythe Arts Council is proud to present the
Chautauqua Festival in the Park
June 21 through 28, 2014

The Chautauqua Festival is an eight day family oriented arts and music festival presented each year starting on the third Saturday of June in Wytheville, Virginia. In its 30th year, it has become an event anticipated all year long by a growing throng of fans locally and across the region.

Join us this summer in Elizabeth Brown Park in Downtown Wytheville for the fun, the entertainment, the drama, the food, and all you can imagine.

The Grande Marshall for the Chautauqua Parade is ...

The Wytheville Ruritans!!!

You've been to their booth every year. You've brushed the powdered sugar off your fingers (and your shirt, and your pants, and ...). For our 30thAnniversary Parade Grand Marshalls, who better to have than our favorite funnel cake makers. The Ruritans have been at Chautauqua as long as there's been a Festival in the Park and long before anyone learned how to spell Chautauqua. Join us Saturday morning at the parade (after the hot air balloons) as they kick off another great cellebration.

2014 Chautauqua Logo
