year, it has become an event
anticipated all year long by a growing throng of fans locally and across the region.

The Grande Marshall for the Chautauqua Parade is ...
The Wytheville Ruritans!!!
You've been to their booth every year. You've brushed the powdered sugar off your fingers (and your shirt, and your pants, and ...).
For our 30thAnniversary Parade Grand Marshalls, who better to have than our favorite funnel cake makers. The Ruritans
have been at Chautauqua as long as there's been a Festival in the Park and long before anyone learned how to spell Chautauqua.
Join us Saturday morning at the parade (after the hot air balloons) as they kick off another great cellebration.
